For instance, I have a screen on one of the servers I use just for viewing data displayed on the screen, such as a streaming video. In the past I have used the built in Windows Remote Desktop Protocol, but for some instances this doesn’t suit my needs. I like using a VNC type of utility for controlling them. Now the servers I have are screenless or keyboard and mouseless and therefore need some way of controlling them. One of my servers is for file storage and web access, and the other server is used as a DVR. My laptop is for my personal use, my desktop is for gaming. I have 4 PC’s of my own running in my home.
